Low Back Pain
Low back pain is a common condition that affects the lower part of your spine, also known as the lumbar region.
Low back pain can be caused by a variety of factors such as poor posture, muscle strains, sprains, arthritis, or even herniated discs. It can also be caused by activities that put a lot of stress on your lower back, such as lifting heavy objects or sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Symptoms include tingling down the legs, back pain, and stiffness.
Treatment for low back pain may include rest and pain relievers. Light activity and physical therapy will usually help alleviate symptoms sooner. Other interventions may be necessary depending on the underlying cause and severity of the pain. You should see a doctor if you have weakness or numbness down the legs.
