Shoulder Pain

The shoulder is a joint that connects the upper arm bone to the shoulder blade. It is a ball-and-socket joint that allows for a wide range of movements, such as rotation, lifting, and reaching. It is surrounded by various muscles, tendons, and ligaments that help support and stabilize the joint. If these muscles are not all functioning well together then you can end up with pain and dysfunction. Pain from the neck can also radiate to the shoulder.
